What You’ll Do
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
- Help with range‑of‑motion exercises, walking, and physician‑directed therapy routines.
- Check vital signs, track fluid/food intake, and report changes promptly.
- Remind clients to take meds as ordered and document compliance.
- Prepare nutritious meals, perform light housekeeping, run errands, and offer specialized, friendly companionship for clients navigating dementia.
- Follow all infection‑control and fall‑prevention protocols, keeping accurate EMR notes via our easy‑to‑use app.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience caring for clients with dementia/Alzheimer's is a PLUS!
- Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
- Active CNA license for CNAs (state‑specific) or PCA Test Results for PCAs (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Recent negative TB test result
- Reliable transportation and the ability to lift/transfer clients safely.
- Basic computer/app skills for daily charting and communication.
- Empathy, professionalism, and a strict commitment to protecting client dignity and privacy.
